Welcome to Karakung Swim Club
Havertown, PA
Karakung Swim Club has provided summertime fun for families in Haverford
Township since 1964. Located on Karakung Drive, by the Little League
baseball field, Karakung serves over 450 member families. The pool
features a 6-lane, 25 meter swimming area, an 11 foot deep diving area,
and a shallow bubble for smaller children. The clubs also has a baby
pool (completely rebuilt for the 2008 season), basketball courts, shuffleboard, a picnic area, and a snack bar.
The swim and diving teams compete with neighboring pools, while
beginning swimmers can take lessons with the lifeguards. The pool opens
on Memorial Day weekend and closes on Labor Day.

Board of directors elections
August 2009
The Karakung Board of Directors meet monthly
during the year to discuss pool business. They are responsible for
making decisions in the best interest of the Swim Club. Joining the
Board of Directors is a great way to learn how the pool operates,
take pride in running it, and meet all the great families that
belong to the pool. There are several positions up for election
every year. If you have an interest on being on the board, please
leave your name with one of our managers We will call you back to
answer all your questions.
